The scarcity principle governs too many lives

We lack nothing. We certainly don't think that and we don't live as though that's true, but, in fact, we are perfect, whole in every way, loved totally by our Creator, equal to everyone we see. Unfortunately, we don't see ourselves through God's eyes so we assume we are flawed, inadequate, not worthy of the love we crave from others.

How dark we have made this world we see. At times, we wonder if it will ever change, if we will ever change. At those times, let's look closer at the friends we admire. Perhaps they see a sunnier side of life. It's important that we understand we have the same capabilities as everyone else. We are everyone else! To see a lighter side of something, we need only ask for another view.

-Excerpt from Timeless Wisdom for January 24th

Let me meditate on this thought for a minute....I definetly do not lack anything. I am always provided with that which I "need" and alot of the time with what I "want". There are times when I wonder if I will be provided for and ask myself, how will get through this? I have always made it through. I feel very lucky. I have alot. A wonderful job, a beautiful wife, a bounty of animals, a handful of good friends and good health. And to think, I actually complain! Usually I am a very happy, go-lucky girl, but there are those times and quite a few of them, when I forget just how lucky I really am. I will take this moment and realize this and make a point to myself to remember this and not complain about everything so damn much. Life is supposed to be crazy, things change, people change, I change. The world goes round and to not move with it is denying it and going against the life force. We must continue to grow and realize new things every day.
